Visiting the School
Parents are always welcome at MS104. You must have an ID to sign in at the security desk to gain admission to the school. In order to make the visit more productive, parents are required to make an appointment with the teacher or administrator with whom they would like to meet. Parents may call the Main Office, Parent Coordinator or send a note with their child to make an appointment.
All students who are absent are required to bring in a written note signed by their parent or guardian on their return to school. Parents should provide a doctor’s note for all medically excused absences. Parents who know that their child will be absent must advise the school in advance. If a student is absent without notifying the school for two consecutive days, the homeroom teacher will call the home. Any student who is excessively absent within a school year will be reported to the Attendance Monitor. For attendance questions, please contact Bonnie Geller-Doyle: email@example.com
Any student arriving late must enter through the Main Lobby on 20th St., sign in the Late Student Log and pick up a Late Pass. Those who are late will not be allowed to enter class without this pass.
PupilPath is the online grade book system used at MS104. It is accessed with a personal code given to the student by the his/her teacher in the first month of the school year. PupilPath allows the student and parents/guardians to view grades, some homework assignments, and contact teachers. It is a great tool to keep parents in the loop regarding assignments and communicate with teachers. Please note that not all teachers use PupilPath to the same degree so please take note where teachers suggest other means of contact.
PupilPath is new to the school. To logon, you will need information from your child's teacher with the school registration code and your child's DOE identification number. If you have already registered and you have questions, please contact PupilPath at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 866.817.0726 ext 2 Monday - Friday 8 AM - 8 PM.
In order to stay in touch, the MS104 PTA sends out an email newsletter called the Baruch Blast weekly during the school year. The Baruch Blast is not the only means of communication for the school but is the primary way to help families keep up-to-date with what is happening. To register, click here
